







The lady walking in front of me was dressed to the nines [as the saying goes]. She was strolling after her midday’s shopping. Her outfit was carefully put-together and just a tad eccentric.









From the top of this section:
1/2. The entryway feels secretive and hidden even though it’s in plain sight from the sidewalk as I pass.
3/4. Bright and colorful touch to a classic brick building in Kip’s Bay is appealing.
5/6. Sun shines off the green glass, attracting my attention.
7/8. I like how the big one overhangs its small neighbors without impinging on their space or air.

Embracing the frightening, we take on the masks of doom. On Halloween, we chase away goblins by becoming one with them.






Of all the made-up days of celebration, I managed to miss Sep 29, National Coffee Day. Ironic, really. My coffee trail has been long and winding. Perhaps it’s fitting that it doesn’t end at a Dunkin’ or a Peets.









Before the rain, these clouds seemed benign. And quite beautiful.
